There are delicious lactose-free dairy products out there, including cream cheese, sour cream, and even some yogurts. Furthermore, the higher the fat concentration in your dairy (e.g. butter, ghee, heavy cream, hard cheeses like parmesan and romano), the less lactose there usually is in the dairy product. But if you’re sensitive to all forms of dairy, you might need a vegan alternative, even if you’re not vegan.
Fish cakes are a great dish to serve to make sure your family eats healthier as even the youngest members will love these. Canned tuna is normally quite cheap, so this recipe would also suit if you are a student or working to a budget. Just remember to drain all the water from the fish as this can make the cakes very crumbly. Serve these with green salad leaves and a wedge of lemon for a lovely filling lunch!

What salad dressing is good for Keto

This skillet dinner coats delicious chicken thighs with a creamy jalapeno cheese sauce.  They're an easy weeknight dinner because you don't have to dirty a ton of dishes to create it.  All you need is an oven-safe skillet and an extra plate. The chicken skin becomes superbly crispy, and we love smothering it with the sauce.  However, the sauce will cause the crisp to soften a bit.  If you'd like to keep it as crisp as possible then plate your dinner with the sauce on the bottom, and then ...

How much weight can you lose intermittent fasting for 3 months

I made this today. I did not have almond flour so I took some slivered almonds and made flour from them in my nutribullet. This turned out fabulous. Only a pinch of salt is necessary. The variations are endless! I don’t do Keto but I will definitely be making this often for everything!! This is a great save if you are out of bread! Thanks so much for this recipe! It is DELISH!
Here is another great idea for a healthy and satisfying meal for the whole family! The creamy tomato sauce helps to boost the flavors of the meatballs and the fried cabbage is a good alternative as a side dish. This recipe would also work using other ground meats such as pork or turkey, so it can accommodate any dietary restrictions you may have to cater for.

Can you eat whatever you want on intermittent fasting

Wanted to add to my last comment, forgot to give you the 5 stars it deserves! Don’t know why but cooking on the griddle gave a more eggy taste , like french toast and not as light.the micro gives best texture and gives the look of sliced bread. I’m a celiac who lived with a carboholic. This bread will be my new go to. Fresh bread in 2 minutes and great when it’s too hot to bake. Thank you, thank you
Well my Bread wasn’t tall enough for say sandwich stuff, and I am not sure if I did anything wrong, I know I used the wrong sized bread pan so that is one thing. However, I couldn’t believe how great it tasted, it was more like a moist custard shortbread. The texture and color were perfect. I cut some thick slices and buttered both sides cooked them in a pan. I spread some sugar-free preserves on top, wow is that good. I may not have made it as intended but I can’t complain. The flavor is amazing.
This recipe has its roots in Puerto Rican cuisine and, with only a few ingredients, is a cheap yet filling meal. Steak and onions is a true favorite with most meat lovers and with the seasoning on this meat the whole dish is bound to be delicious. For a slightly sweeter taste, try using red onions instead of white. This is a lovely filling dish to serve for lunch on a chilly day.

Fish cakes can be a great meal to serve for the whole family and since these ones are quick and easy to make, they could become a go-to for midweek dinners. This recipe uses canned salmon which can usually be found cheaper than fresh but still has all the flavor you would expect. These can be served with a salad, salsa or sauce or you can simply tuck in as they are!

I just made this bread today and MAN, IS IT GOOD!!!! I realized I used salted butter and pink sea salt and maybe that gave it an added boost too. It was super hard for me to try and fold in the almond flour mixture to the egg whites, but now that I watch the video, I see I could have mixed the food processor part more first. I was so scared to collapse my egg whites. I also see your bread was the same size as mine, so I must have done ok. I will say again, WOW it is sooo good! I already ate two pieces with butter, just because. oops! Good thing it was only 1 carb each. =)))) Thank you, thank you!

If burgers are on the menu in your house, whether for lunch or as a starter for a dinner party, eggplant can be the perfect ‘bun’ replacement, as it holds together well once it is cooked. You can use whatever ground meat your family likes, but I recommend you make the dipping sauce described here, as the flavors from the tamari and garlic are fantastic! Even the younger members of the household will love these.

Can you get hepatitis B from saliva

A Tex-Mex style casserole packed with bell pepper, green onion, cilantro, and jalapeno, then topped with cheddar cheese. Great served with a dollop of sour cream, or even extra jalapeno if you can handle the heat! If you love Mexican flavors, and meatloaf, then this recipe will be one you enjoy too. To make this meal fast we used a food processor, but you could also chop everything by hand if you don’t happen to have one. You want the vegetables to be a chunky, colorful, and flavor-packed ...

Is eating steak good for you

I have a personal connection to ropa vieja because it was something my family made when I was growing up. It typically takes all day to make because you’re slowly cooking it in its juices and the longer it cooks the more tender the chuck roast becomes. So I’m very excited to find this recipe because you can make it so much faster in the instant pot and still keep it keto! My favorite part is finding the briny green olives mixed throughout the tender spiced meat!

This open-faced burger is a great way to serve up a fast lunch or dinner without worrying about a bun substitute. Ground beef patties seasoned with taco flavoring are served up with avocado, lettuce, pickled jalapenos, and pepper jack cheese. A drizzle of olive oil across the top ties the whole thing together! This recipe is a bit calorie-heavy, so it may be best suited for those of you who like to practice intermittent fasting. If you need to adjust the macros down you can easily do this ...
These keto pumpkin muffins already look amazing, but they’re concealing a sweet secret. Each one is stuffed with cream cheese frosting.  This is a fun breakfast idea that you could serve up with some keto coffee. I know it seems a bit early to be posting a pumpkin-based recipe, but honestly, these are just too good to wait!  It feels a bit like having your dessert for breakfast, but they're high in fat and low in carbs.  Even kids gobble these up. Yields 12 servings of Keto Pumpkin ...

Does diet soda break ketosis

I just made this bread and it’s lovely but when I work out the ingredients I used it works out a far greater fat content that yours. I used ground almonds as that is what we use for almond flour in the uk, I don’t know if that makes a difference. Per serving (half the recipe) this is what I get: cal 240, fat 21.3g, net carb 2.2g, protein 9.4g. Any idea why mine is so much more?

What can I use in meatloaf instead of breadcrumbs

This recipe involves a ‘shake and bake’ method to coat the chicken, which cuts out on messy fingers and is so easy to do that it may well become your favorite method! The chicken is so tasty and is kept moist by wrapping it in the bacon. Feel free to adjust the seasonings to suit your palate, then enjoy these for a lovely lunch or cut each chicken tender into smaller pieces to serve as party food!

The best part about this recipe is that it’s simple, and once you have it down, you can replicate this keto friendly bread any time you want. I’ve been making a low carb loaf every Sunday for the past few weeks and would recommend that to anyone. It’s so nice to have a loaf of bread at your disposal when you’re on a low carb diet. It almost feels like cheating. Check out this recipe and start making the best keto bread you’ve ever tried today!
This was so yummy! Great for sandwiches. I’m a total amateur when it comes to baking and I was so sure I’d messed this up. The instructions seem a little intimidating- I usually avoid all recipes that even involve separating eggs. I don’t have a hand mixer so used my immersion blender in too wide/flat of a bowl for fluffing the eggs, so they didn’t get thoroughly “fluffed.” But despite that, the consistency of the bread was great. It was just shorter than I’d have expected. So happy I tried this! Great instructions and tips.
Agree with post regarding salt omitted salt, grilled it first time. It definitely reminds me of corn muffins texture. This morning make recipe added 1 T. of swerve brown sugar and dash or cinnamon, nutmeg and chopped walnuts OMG. It was great topped with cream cheese frosting(cream cheese, butter ,vanilla and swerve confection .Thanks can’t wait to try pumpkin spice next time I’m craving carrot cake thanks so much!
The recipes in this book sound great and I even made a couple that tasted good but what I'm not sure on is how accurate the nutrition facts are and serving sizes. For example the Meatloaf only has 184 calories, fat 10.5 g, protein 8.3 g, carbs 7.3 g and fiber 15.7 g (have no idea where all that fiber is coming from) I even hopped on some websites to enter in the Ingredients and it was nowhere near what the book claims especially for calories. I was doing really good at losing weight, I feel I gained more after making and eating the foods out of this recipe book. I agree with another reviewer the meals are on the higher side of the carb factor. On to another keto cookbook for me.

Can coffee trigger IBS

Made this 2 times. The 2nd batch turned out much better and more delicious . I use coconut sugar in place of the sweetner listed. However, I am having trouble with the egg whites and the consistency pictured. My egg whites turn into a foamy meringue. I have made meringue before, and I knew it would stiffen up, and it did. Otherwise the rise was much better on the 2nd attempt and looked very much like the bread pictured. I seemed to fold in the mixture better 2nd time around. 1st time it looked like I had pockets of uncooked dough though the temp reading at 2 locations showed above 200 deg F. I blamed it on not folding the mixture with the eggs well enough.
I was looking for a quick way to test a bit of (raw) JALAPENO and came across your 90 SECOND bread. Typically, a mug version isn’t on my radar since I’ve taken up keto loaves of bread, cakes, cookies, etc., quantities of baking. BUT I am totally impressed at the texture, very English muffin, and wonderful flavor! I cut the salt to less than an 1/8th and put just a dab of butter into the mix before whisking it really well. DELICIOUS! Was very surprised to see it is a serving for 2 muffins although hubby and I split it to see about the JALAPENO spiciness (I can safely put more into the loaf I’ll be doing next). Long winded to express my thanks and appreciation for getting bread in a mug done quickly absolutely perfect!!
We’ve been on the Keto journey since the end of February last year and this is my favourite bread recipe so far, I just made a loaf and it turned out great. I don’t have a food processor so I did use my blender and for ingredients I only used the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, butter, salt, 8 egg whites (all I had left in the fridge) and the only optional ingredient I added was stevia. The texture was still really nice without the extra ingredients which is a nice option and this tasted like a regular loaf of bread, I’ll definitely be making this again!!
